How we OperateThere are 6 stages involved in helping you achieve the right Financial solutions to help you move in the direction you want to go:
1. An informal chat at your convenienceWhen you initially contact us, the first thing we do is have a brief chat with you over the phone or via e-mail, to establish a basic idea of what sort of advice you require and what you are looking to achieve. At the same time we will arrange an appointment for you with the relevant adviser in one of our dedicated appointments rooms at our Lincoln office premises, however, if this isn’t convenient for you to pop in we can make arrangements to come and see you at your home or place of work. 2. A full assessment of your affairs and requirementsYour first meeting will usually take about an hour and will start with your adviser introducing themselves and presenting you with our Initial Disclosure Document. This is a document written in plain English which outlines precisely our terms in helping you with your needs and requirements. Your adviser will then go through some simple fact finding questions, this is to pinpoint your financial position and discuss your needs, wants, desires and the various options open to you. Once we have completed the fact-finding, and have a complete understanding of all your requirements, we will then agree the order of priority to address those needs and go to work for you. 3. Researching the market place to find you the right solutionsAfter having determined exactly what your requirements are, your adviser will conduct an in-depth research of the market place. This is done using sophisticated computer based sourcing systems, to find you the best solutions for your needs. Some of the sourcing systems are live web systems and others are updated daily via the web and allow us access to all the latest products across the whole of the market applicable to your needs. To arrive at the best solution, we initially compile a shortlist of products that meet your criteria and then individually analyse each one, if we need further information from the product provider, we will speak directly to them and then use our experience and professional judgment, to select the final product that best meets your requirements. For each product recommended, a product illustration and key features document (if applicable), are then produced for you, these documents provide you with all the pertinent features, facts and figures about each recommended product. 4. Explaining our recommendations for your considerationAt a second meeting and after a brief recap of the first meetings objectives, your adviser will go through the recommended product, taking particular care in clearly explaining all the features and benefits of the product, and why it is suited to your needs. In addition to this, they will highlight and explain the ‘small print’, and any potential implications that may have an impact on your future. Once we have fully explained our recommendations to your satisfaction and answered any questions that you may have, you will be in a position to make a fully informed decision with confidence. At this point the decision rests entirely in your hands, if you need more time to consider it, you may take all the time you need. 5. A dedicated case handler if you choose to proceedIf you choose to act on our recommendations, your adviser will then take care of all the paperwork and then submit it for processing where it will be assigned to a dedicated case handler. Your case handler will liaise with all the necessary parties (e.g. lenders, insurers, solicitors, surveyors etc), to progress your application as quickly and smoothly as possible. You will also have direct access to your case handler and may call them at anytime if you have any questions or queries. 6. Keeping you informed every step of the wayYour case handler will continually monitor the progress of your application by liaising with the relevant parties every 3rd working day. As soon as your case handler has an update, they will inform you straightaway of the progress by either telephone or email (your choice) so you always know precisely what is happening. Once your application has successfully completed, you will receive the relevant policy documents for your records. Eternal Growth will also receive a copy of your documents for our records. To conclude the process, we will send you a letter to confirm your product or products have commenced and confirm a review date.
